Shepherds mentor Eileen Blees sits on the Board at Wakeman Boys & Girls Club and has passed along the opportunity for the Shepherds community to volunteer at the 3rd Annual “Day for Kids” at the Wakeman Madison Avenue Community Clubhouse on Saturday, September 19th. They are in need of volunteers to help the day of the event.
The schedule is broken into 2-hour shifts, 9-11 am, 11am- 1 pm, 1-3 pm and 3-5 pm. Help is needed setting up, supervising the inflatables, assisting in the food truck area, and cleaning up. If students could spare 2 hours on Saturday, September 19 to help us out, we would greatly appreciate it.
