Daniel R. McAuliffe, Jr. Appointed Shepherds Executive Director, October 5, 2015

October 5, 2015

The Shepherds Board announced this week that Dan McAuliffe has been appointed Executive Director of Shepherds, Inc. effective immediately.

Shepherds is a non-profit organization that provides mentors and sponsors for inner-city CT students to attend non-public high schools in their local communities.

Dan has been a Director of the Shepherds Board Director since 2011 and has been a mentor and sponsor for two Kolbe Cathedral High School students. Dan previously served as Interim Executive Director in 2014. In his business career, Dan was long time executive of Citigroup and its predecessor firms where he built and operated a broad spectrum of alternative investment businesses.

Two part-time professionals, Amy Chickles and Noelle Kenny, join Dan in our Executive Staff. Lisa Matson, former Assistant Principal of Kolbe Cathedral High School, also ably assists the team.

This team along with the staff and administration at Notre Dame High School-West Haven will continue building the solid foundation and momentum that Shepherds has established over the past several years.

The Executive Staff along with the Shepherds Board look forward to the continued strong engagement and support of our Mentors, Sponsors, school partners and most importantly, the Shepherds students and their families in our ongoing mission of

“Changing Lives….One Student at a Time.”
